Muhammad F. Padela CPA, CFE, CFF, CITP, CGMA

Muhammad has over 25 years of diversified pubic accounting and auditing experience of various private, public, clients and has developed expertise in asset securitization, mergers, regulatory and SEC reporting, financial and non financial institutions along with real estate, hospitality, E&P, pharmaceutical and service industries.


Muhammad also serves and provides assistance to the clients' management in coordinating updates to internal control documentation as well as coordinating and performing testing procedures to support management's assessment of internal controls over financial reporting in accordance with the COSO matrix, including generation and evaluation of audit work papers. He has also collaborated with client's management to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of key business processes by contributing to the development of client policies and procedures and helping them to develop annual fraud risk assessments.

Muhammad has specialized in derivative accounting, hedge funds and fund to funds. Audit clients include funds trading various types of financial instruments, including long/short equities, bonds, warrants, futures, forward contracts, options, swaps, private equities and currency swaps.

Muhammad also assists companies with financial analysis in situations where fraud is suspected. Typical engagements include corporate fraud, spousal dishonesty and other suspicious or questionable transactions. Muhammad has the benefit of being both a traditional accountant and a Certified Fraud Examiner. He combines his intuitive ability with knowledge of business financial systems to perform his investigations competently and efficiently.
